Padise Kastell is a café created with heart, offering a unique atmosphere in a historic stable building, nestled among the pine forests of Padise.
Originally opened as a summer café, Padise Kastell has grown into a beloved destination where visitors come year-round from near and far. We also offer catering services.
Housed in a limestone building from the mid-19th century, our space embodies a rustic yet elegant charm, where old meets new. Every detail tells a story, yet there is always something new to discover on your next visit.
Our grand column hall, once a carriage house, can accommodate up to 100 guests and is perfect for a variety of events: romantic weddings, elegant receptions, anniversaries, seminars, concerts, or any special occasion.
The cozy café offers seating for 30 guests, while our spacious courtyard allows for outdoor dining or a relaxing meal in our glasshouse. Families and even four-legged friends are always welcome at Padise Kastell.
Our menu is inspired by traditional Estonian cuisine, with influences from flavors around the world. We offer a carefully curated wine selection, alongside an extensive cocktail menu, including a variety of non-alcoholic options.

Catering
As a catering service, we bring the flavours of Padise Kastell to your table at a location that suits you. Whether it’s a birthday party at home, an office opening party, or a hearty meal in the woods. If your task is to organize catering for your guests, then contact us and we will help set your table and express love to your guests through their stomach.
We offer catering services for 10 or more guests. You can pick up the food yourself, but we also offer delivery or full service with service, inventory, and a cocktail bar.

Our story
Padise Kastell began its journey in the summer of 2019, when we had the opportunity to return to our roots in Padise. After years of working in restaurants and bars both in the capital and abroad, the dream of opening our own café became a reality.
With a passion for hospitality but a limited budget, we took a creative approach—scouring attics, repurposing furniture from storage, and giving new life to vintage finds. This is what gives Padise Kastell its unique character, where each teacup is different, lace curtains double as tablecloths, and every piece has a story to tell.
Originally a summer café, Padise Kastell quickly won the hearts of our guests. The following spring, we decided to drop “summer” from our name, and since then, we have been welcoming visitors year-round.
